About Us

The Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technologists (ArSRT) began over 65 years ago with a group of technologists that believed in sharing their knowledge and experiences with colleagues. The ArSRT was the proud advocate that obtained legislative commitment and state licensure for Arkansas technologists. As an affiliate of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), we are a nonprofit society for imaging professionals. Today’s collective group includes professionals from Radiology, Radiation Therapy, Ultrasound, CT, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and Mammography. With technology advancements resulting in ever-changing imaging dynamics, the ArSRT has always striven to promote continued education and to enable imaging professionals to provide the highest in quality healthcare. This tradition continues today as we strengthen our partnership with the ASRT through Affiliate Development Programs such as the Leadership Academy for Technologists and Student Leadership for future technologists. RACE FOR THE CURE

A small team of ArSRT members participated in the Komen Race for the Cure October 22, 2016. This event will hopefully be the first of many to come as we help support our imaging professionals and patients. Lynn Davis promotes Breast Cancer awareness and quality imaging for a special purpose. Her mom is a breast cancer survivor like many other mothers, sisters and daughters. A special thanks to all our Mammography Technologists that take extra time obtaining optimal images to aid in the diagnosis breast patients.
